Fall Season Comes Early in the Montana Mission Mountains
Ready for Fall Season at Bear Spirit Lodge
Today is the last day of August 2015, & cooler weather is here! The recent rain has washed a lot of the smoke from forest fires in the NorthWest, & cooled off the land. September & October are great months to visit Western Montana, & see the sights here. Just today, a black bear came through the yard, coyotes down in the pastures, wild turkeys, & magpies in flight, just to name a few.
The University of Montana has started their football season in Missoula with a win! The National Bison Range is nearby & active with lots of wildlife, especially the rutting season of the elk. The sounds & views of bugling elk collecting their harem of elk cows always offers a lot of opportunities for photography.
The leaves have started to change color a little bit already. Glacier National Park announced that the Going-to-the-Sun road is open later in October this year.
Come soon to Bear Spirit Lodge & maybe you will see a bear in the wild eating some berries & getting ready for hibernation!
Spectacular, unspoiled nature!
