At Bear Spirit Lodge, we make Montana weddings very special and beautiful occasions. The setting is the perfect destination to elope or for a small wedding of up to 30 people outside or 8 people inside.
Rev. Dr. Ann, the Innkeeper, is an interfaith minister and was ordained at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City. Ann is willing to travel to your venue to officiate your ceremony or will serve as the celebrant at Bear Spirit Lodge. Please feel free to call Ann to discuss some ideas.
The Lodge is surrounded by nature, glorious pine trees filtering in the sunlight, and a small pond with waterfall and fountain in the front yard. Another beautiful area for a simple wedding is on our lower ceremonial land with mountains & forests creating a natural cathedral and backdrop. For a larger "guest list", other areas, parks and hotels are available.
Her warm and welcoming demeanor helps calm the nerves of even the most anxious bride and groom. You will feel you are taken care of with her kind voice, reassuring looks, and smiles. Her love and warmth radiate throughout the whole ceremony. Ann is very flexible and will work with you to create the most unforgettable and sacred spiritual or religious ceremony that you want for your very special day.
The Apache Wedding Blessing
May the sun bring you new energies by day;
May the moon softly restore you by night.
May the rain wash away any worries you may have
And the breeze blow new strength into your being.
And all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world
And know its beauty.
Now you will feel not the rain, for each will shelter the other.
Now you will feel not cold, for each will warm the other.
Now you will feel not solitude, for each will be companion to the other.
Now you are two persons, but both will lead one life.
Go now to your dwelling to enter into the days of your life,
And may your days be good and long upon the earth.
